I would like to wish Happy Belated New Year to all who read my blog(yg tak popular)! haha..no party for me...party kat rumah jer..can't wait for fullerton stay this weekend..gonna bring yanyan for swimming! harap tak melalak budak tu!

so what have i done/achieved/went through in 2008?

- having a child!! haha..no easy feat ok..every morning i wish he would grow older faster..he's VERY cranky and demanding in the morning..but every night when i watched him sleep..i wish he wouldn't grow up so fast...sighs

- The passing away of shai's beloved grandmother and uncle. Al-fatihah. Death comes unexpectedly :(

- owning a very expensive bag! HAHA..yes u could go holiday with it..you could buy many many bags with it(like wat my SIL said),you could go botak( as my husband claimed),blah blah blah..but its just not the same lor ... ahhaha..aiya u own it then u knw it haha...

- jog a 10k marathon! haha..participated in the Great Eastern Women Run ..its was a personal achievement for me! i didn't drop dead..yay..but what a great experience..it's all in the mind ...but now have been lacking in my weekly jogs..die lor..have signed up for the sundown marathon in may! can't wait!

- i'm still not back to my pre-pregnancy weight!darn..food is the key ..so i'm now having vegetarian strictly for lunch, light dinner, no more teh tarik/kopi c EXCEPT for starbucks! haha

what to look forward to 2009 ( somehow i don't like odd numbers heeheh)

- LOSE WEIGHT! ..hope the vege diet works because exercise jer doesn't wor apparently haha

- purchase a TV? hmmm

- adryan's first bday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- my birthday! haha..hmm aper nak ketok eh?

- pay increment! and bonus in feb!

- my company dinner and dance

that's all i can think abt now... so again Happy New Year to all..and new beginnings!!

1 close friend and 1 very close friend are getting married soon! one this sat and the other one in mid dec! so excited can?!?! i promised to be mimi's bridesmaid..but now not sure whether i can ( she doesn't know yet la..coz i feel bad ..she will knw once she read this ..:( , ive asked my mum to look after but she said on sun she also need to go for weddings how to take care? hmmpf!)

so how eh? she was with me one whole sunday during my wedding and i want to do the same for her!!! aiya..one more suay thing is that my SIL is also getting married on the same days as her!! whahwah..but i already tell my MIL i cant help much..who to take of yanyan right? whahwahwa..i dun like other ppl to look after him la..nanti ader jer dorang nak suap suap :S esp my FIL lorrrrrrrrrrrr... grrr

anyways i not the rewang2 type la..i donch like..malas lor...hahaa

but i really want to help mimi on sunday lor..need to upah my mother lebih awhwah

and oh ya! yanyan aka bam bam crawling already lor! but he likes to stand more! and crawl on top of me! ahh geram! i especially love it when he scrunch up his nose and smile! cute tau! wawhawa...so fast coming 8 mths already ! too fast!! no signs of tooth/teeth yet..i've a friend anak dia 6 mths dah ader 2 gigi ok!!! cuteness ok!

yanyan's weight currently at 9.5kg..never put any weight since last checkup ley..must feed him more!!!more more! wahwha

First fall

Yes, i'm v sad to say yan yan had his first fall from the bed this morning!..jaga punya jaga, tahan mata punya tahan ..jatuh jugak anak aku hahah..

i always say to myself i would never let yan yan fall from the bed. Whenever i put him on the bed( as in our bed) i will watch him like a hawk haha..There's one time i was so damn sleepy..but still I keep watch over him tau...

ytd night i didn't have enough sleep as yan yan woke up every 2hrs to drink milk..sikit2 dia minum..bertuah betul..

so ard 8 plus in the morning i was really sleepy and he was half awake..so we put him on our bed..shai was in the living room..i thought yan yan was going back to sleep ( usually he will when we put him on our bed, and he also sleeps longer on our bed haha)..suddenly i heard something fall.

immediately i was wide awake! ngantuk terus hilang.. i behaved a bit like a mad woman shouting hawhwa and i heard shai shouting also from outside( he shock lah here me shout).yan yan was face down i tink.err..a bit dark..the bolster might be under him..cry lah wat else..there's a slight bruise on the left side of his forehead..other than that he's ok la. aiyo i feel so bad tau!! so kesian..imagine how yan yan feel eh? mesti more shock than pain eh ahha

and i blame shai for leaving him on the bed. hahah but i think he fell on the bolster also so not so bad.

so now no more bed for yan yan unless i'm wide awake!! baru nak make him fall-free-from-bed.damn!

Al Fatihah to shai's beloved grandmother..

who passed away 3.40am this morning at changi hospital.We were glad we get to see her and spend some time with her on sunday.

for the past few days she had been complaining of breathing difficulties and that her throat hurts. earlier this evening she was brought to the hospital but refused to be admitted. So went back home but had to be brought in again not long after because she was losing consciousness on and off and having breathlessness again.

That was ard 10pm because we were supposed to fetch shai's mum and sis from his grandma's place and send them back to yishun...but instead we sent them to changi.

Not long after that around 1am plus..shai informed me his grandma had a heart attack , then was on machine support and i guess Allah loves her more.

I regret that i can't be there with him but I'm glad his grandma got to see Adryan for the last time. She was so happy that sunday to see him...*sobs*

Semoga rohya dicucuri rahmat dan ditempatkan bersama orang orang yg disayangi. Amin

the ayah carried him facing me while I sang to him complete with hand gestures and eye contact ahah..and slowly he fall asleep at 1am ...half an hr earlier yay! ahah

tried to feed him but he refused..i hope the singing works for tonight also haha

i don't think he has wind cause he kept farting wahwha...but yeah i do have gripe water..mebe i just sumbat la eh..

usually we played with him first sampai dia penat..then he will cry..tapi nak kena dokong facing front baru dia diam.puting pun ader jugak ..

and he hates the cradle position now dun knw why..

nvm i'll just sing to him for now ahahaha

kasi susu kadang2 tak nak tolak2..ish geram..mcm smalam ..lepas tertido, aku pun dah nak terlelap skali dia bangun! bingit tau! sampai my husband terbangun ..then kasi susu tak nak...nangis...then i dukung him with him facing back kan ..terus lentuk..lupa nyer nak tido balik awhwhawhhwa

kadang2 buang susu mcm gini ah..dah buat tak minum..kalau susu badan takpe tak waste..ni formula beb awhwhawa

i wish he could tell me whats wrong..sejuk ke..aper ke..hhahah..ader momok ke...awhhaw selisih haha

and the nurse there called him ham pao pao ..ahaha

What happened yesterday night i will never forget for the rest of my life. My bedroom light came off and crashed into our bed..at the side where Adryan always sleep. But syukur alhamdullilah he wasn't on that side when it happened. But i keep thinking ..what if he was asleep there when it happens? what if it happens when i'm not in the room(say maybe im in the toilet or cleaning out outside)..so many what ifs..:(

shai was already asleep on the floor when it happens..and I had to shout to wake him up ..and it startled him ..dah mcm orang kena sampuk ...i'm sorry dear i have to shout because i'm in shock also.

only a tiny bit of glass was extracted from adryan hair..other than that he's gold..syukur alhamdullillah..when it happened i was towering over him..chit chatting..so i guess i sheltered him but he was oh so near to the other bits and pieces of glass.

before it all happened..i hear a crashing sound...like something fell..so i went to check the bedside tables but nothing dropped..i was puzzled but didn't think much of it..so i hopped back on bed and proceed to play w Adryan..and just a minute later the lamp keep crashing down..astaghfirullah!! lucky it swinged to the other side instead of at us!!

now i'v got phobia sleeping under the light sia..how? mebe i shld just sleep in the living room for the time being :(

Is it the ubat periuk?

The amount of breast milk has improved significantly althought its far from enough. Could it be the ubat periuk i consume recently?or the pumping session(which I managed to do once a day only)

Yah..i've just started consuming the ubat periuk a week ago when i'm ending my confinement this sunday ( and coincidentally its Mother's Day!!). why u may ask? because i totally FORGOT!! to take the ubat periuk! how selenge ..so i just started..my mother say its ok ..can take anytime!haha

and soon after i have very heavy menses...used up to 3 pads per day! scary man!

i've also just got myself a bottle of fenugreek tablets from GNC..went back home and realised the capsule made of gelatin! grr..dun knw frm which source so i took the fenugreek without the capsule as it's a powder form in the capsule aahaahha

and oh we have a dining table now!! yay! haha

Adryan now weighs at 5.7kg. He needs to exercise more and maybe go on a diet ahha
some babies at his age look much smaller than him!

finally i made it to Changi Airport Terminal 3!! hahah..yeah we brought along my mother and Adryan along ...after going to my dear friend Wati and Meraj's wedding.
He slept throughout..only woke up for milk.

So happy for u both!!kalau dah jodoh tak ke mana :D

Recently Adryan had colic..that's what the doc said..must be the aircon..oops ehhee
He passed motion during EVERY feed for 2 days..halfway through milk he will poop then go to sleep without finishing his milk.That got me worried cause i thought if he keep pooping at every feed ..so what's left right?

so on monday shai took urgent leave and we went to the baby PD in east shore..she said as long as there's no fever its fine ..she just prescribed Adryan some good bacteria( there's a term for it but too long la)..to be mixed with some water..
we went in the morning..and he still pooping till night..i guess i very kanciong la..cannot recover in 1 day right...aiya but at night he fussier...want to be cuddled only..put on bed cry!

so the next morning which is earlier just now..i brought him to another doc in tamp..the Baby and Clinic medical at tamp st 81. wah so many ppl! i was there from 10 to 11 plus! The doc there said it might be wind..so she prescribed wind drop..but she advised it the condition still persists ..might need to change his milk to soya based...so i'll wait and see..

he does burps after every feed and farts too hehe..but still got wind..haiya!..now he missed 1 poop ..so i hope his condition improves soon! kesian u knw..poop after every feed...

i ask the doc...will he get dehydrated..she said not too worry coz he's of good weight so its ok..aper jer..but still need to drink wat! siao ahwhwahaw
fat also need to eat mah hahahaha

anyhow..i'm still trying to breastfeed him !! haha ya ..i hope 1 day he'll latch! i think the problems not with him but me..i have err..shortish nipples hehehehe

Ok here goes..labor story..was induced ion 26th mar morning...went to airport for mac and starbucks dinner..eh u all shld try white choc mocha frap..sedap ok!..ah then ard 11plus at night started to have menses like cramps every 3 -5 mins..

i was a bit puzzled..supp to start with 10-15 mins mah..why the duration so fast ah..still bearable but very irritating la..carry on all the way till morning..ard 4 am i gave dr aziz a call just to be sure they are contractions..he say i might give birth soon but decided just wait until 8am when i'm supposed to be at east shore.

arrived east shore late ard 9am haha..dr aziz already there..oops..he say why late ..his patients waiting at clinic .. :p ..during that time contractions still on and off..he broke my waterbag and i was given enema to pass motion..wah shiok.

after that waiting begin..started at 930am..used gas all the way (which i personally find v helpful) at 330pm..that's where the contraction gets closer together and more painful..so i asked for pedithine..which does nothing for me ahah..i guess i took it a bit too late ..

so gas it is for me again..i tink towards the end the gas is just a tiny distraction from the pain..at 345pm the urge to push has started ..but yes i have to wait for the gynae coz he has a caesarean going on..the midwife asked me not to push until 4pm ... oh well hack la..i just push because i can't really control the urge to push la..it pushes by itself! ahhaww

i tink the midwife knows that but its her job to say don't push ahahha
i tink gynae came in ard 350pm..so started to push ..push thru 4 contractions and by then he decided i need assistance..he say i could wait..but even if he came back from playing golf i would still be pushing ..so what do you think he means? haha..that means he cant wait for me la! ahhaa

he say i have to double the effort to push when i;ve already given my fullest effort..haha..i also lazy la want to push again so i opt for vacuum.gasak la!

so after 6 pushes (with 2 contractions) Adryan Azli was born at 4.21pm 27th Mar! and yes it feels like one solid thing sliding out of you..you feel SO RELIEVED!

Adryan cried a bit and kept quiet...ahah..nurse put him on my chest ..i was like ..err hi..guess i was too tired? haha ..when i was pregnant and reading ppl labor stories online..i always cried tau..but funny when it comes to mine..mcm not so touched ..never teared at all hahaha...but if coz i'm happy lah!!

i got 5 stitches ..episiotomy plus tear ..tear v near to my anus ..so it was quite painful after that..now its getting better..but yes it was worth it even though my tukang urut says my stitches looked like flower and gynae say its like ketam!! haha he say it was hard to stitch because of the natural tear..but i tink he was just in a hurry la..so many patients mah...haha

I would really like to thank ekyn for bothering to answer my smses when im having my contractions..ur support really helps..thanks beb..

and of course my dear husband Shaifulazli who help me to count down to 20 to stop pushing hahaha..he's really my pillar of strength towards the end..without him i don't think i can do it.Adryan Azli is fortunate to have a father like him and me too to have a husband like him *sobs* (ni part touching .hahah)

Dear friends,

I've chose to be induced..and I might give birth tonight or tomorrow. I prefer tomorrow so i can sleep tonite!! ahah

Reasons for induced labor:

1) Baby A's weight is a concern to my gynae.(now at 3.5kg)
2) I'm tired, aching all over and have difficulty walking nowadays

If the above reasons are not enough for you just repeat 1) and 2) hahaha

I have to report to east shore by 8am tomoro! so early!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like going to work like that..in fact i go to work later! haha

ok everyone...ur prayers are much needed and appreciated..and kalau ader salah dan silap harap maafkan ye..selamat hari raya! ahhaha

My Best Friend's Engagement

I can't sleep again..had a pretty tiring day..slept at 11plus and woke up at 4am. Ok lah sleep around 4 hours..consider sleep la eh..

So what is the first thing I do after waking up? Reheat nasi briyani!!! hahaha from my BF engagement.I think I'm hungry that's y cannot sleep la..haha

so while waiting for the food to heat up, i edited the engagement photos then had my err breakfast haha and then update blog lor..

ytd was my BF(we went to sec sch together) engagement...came ard 2 plus in the afternoon and went back ard 10pm.Was sitting down pretty much of the time but still tired hahha..maybe because of the swollen feet and the weather. It hasn't been raining this past 2 days.. so hot man!

Throughout the event i think i have answered more than 10 times abt when my baby's due and whether baby's a boy or girl hahah ..met some dear frens who I haven't met for quite some time..wish we could chit chat more but I had a small responsibility..that was to touch up makeup for my fren hahah

She looked lovely in blue!!Couldn't be more happy for her :) Can't wait for her wedding in december!!!! Her makeup and outfit from Putri Mas

My baby was pretty quiet throughout the day but he's making up for that now! Tgh mamam nasi briyani agak nyer hehehe..

Everytime I put my hands over ..he will move and that makes me feel so so happy and somewhat sad..coz very soon I won't be able to do that anymore :(..

9 mths and beyond

The first thing Dr Aziz said when he saw me "saya tgk awak dah mcm tak larat" haha..

I put on a kg plus ..now at 81kg (omg), baby's at normal(thank god) 3.1kg and my sugar's level a bit higher than normal. He reckoned it must be all the potatoes that I consumed after I informed him that I'm not much of a sweets person. But I think I need to drink more plain water ..I'm v bad at that..its always pokka green tea for me..haha

I tell him I want to see the baby face but again I failed to make sense of the scan. He was going.."ah tu mata dia..pipi dia..mulut dia" and I just "oh eh?" ahaha and shai was like " oh i see it.." yeah rite ahhaa

I guess I just have to wait for another 2 weeks to see my baby's face...2 weeks v fast right?! 2 WEEKS!!! YIKES!

anyway i'm going back for another checkup this 20th to determine whether I'll be induced. Dr Aziz says if my sugar level still the same or higher I may need to be induced or if my baby has upgraded to L size also need to be induced. He said he prefered to deliver a size M baby haha..nak induce jer tau..But i'm ok with it la..whatever he says hahah..I'm a very good patient..everything ok wan
he ask me whether I want to start my maternity leave..but I've decided to leave it till later .. maybe a few days before I'm induced.Don't want to waste the maternity leave as I'm not going to take any unpaid leave after that.

and and I managed to get hold of some akar fatimah thanks to hana's fren heriati who has extras :) It was my first time doing this....so not sure whether it has 'bloom' or not la. The first time I soaked it like ok ok la..it opened up but recently it seemed to open up more la..I don't really soak it every day and haven't muster the courage yet to actually consume the water haha so i just pour it over my tummy..

I took the below picture few days back after soaking it for less than 12hours..

The akar fatimah curls back upon drying .. so cool ahha

Dr aziz said baby A's semangat..estimated 2.2 to 2.4kg..but baby A's at 2.7kg! He puts on 0.7kg within 3 weeks!! i ask how accurate his machine is..he replied happily 10% error only. :/

but a fren of mine says her daughter's more than 10% error and came out smaller..ahhh but i still need to be cautious.MUST cut down on eggs and potatoes! haha. I love a chubby baby but not when he's still inside of me haha

He pushed my EDD earlier to 17 Mar..that's less than a month away! yikes! and i'm still not done with my preparation yet! Only bought a stroller, car seat and wardrobe..better than nothing right haha. And I simple adore the car seat! so colorful ahahha..

Baby A's movements are lesser now but definitely stronger when he moves. I might just opt for induce because I can't wait to see him! next checkup on the 15th Mar and I hope baby A doesn't go beyond 3.5kg.

My elder sister asked me what I want and I said an electric pump. She said for what..manual's good enough and anyway I'm not going to breastfeed for long..

How she know eh i'm not going to breastfeed for long? just because she didn't breastfeed for long? I hope to prove her wrong..i wish to breastfeed at least a year else 6 mths lah! insya allah.. but i'm sure i'm not going to get any support from her..Doesn't she reads on breastfeeding when she's pregnant?! sheesh! i'm going to get my encouragement somewhere else whatever it takes..haiz

Oh! and few days back my feet started to swell out of a sudden! weird! it's not painful but they sure look ugly ahaha.Lucky my nose not kembang yet...:D

yes i've started to waddle..its especially hard when trying to walk after sitting down for quite a while.

I have to stand still for a few seconds and slowly step by step started to walk haha..after dat ok already la

its the hip and groin part which is aching..

as you can see i've stopped updating the scan images of baby A ..nvm la..later i compensate with my baby A's photos instead ( mcm ader orang nak tgk gitu eh ahahah )

had a bad gastric flu for past 4 days..still having diahrea though but no more of the gastric pain ..amin! vomitted once only ..thank god! i hate vomitting! i think i lost weight also (yay!). for now i have put spicy food on hold..there goes my sambal belacan, roti prata and curry! during the 4 days i had gastric pain i keep saying to myself labor's worse! yeah pathetic attempt at pacifying myself hahha..

a friend of mine recently gave birth at 32 weeks and her edd shld be around my time..so its a bit of surprise! i'm so not ready if i am to give birth now! i've only bought some clothes for baby A ..that's abt it.haha..BUT tomorrow i'm going shopping after the monthly appt. i pray pray pray that baby A has made a 180deg turn with head down. I don't want caesarean ley :(

For the past few days he has been very active.I think its because baby A has less space to move about that's why I can feel him more. 8hrs non stop at work and at night till the next morning.I've started to have sleepless nights because he kept moving! haha
NOW i understand when ppl said u wished he stopped kicking!! before that i was so anxious why baby A seldom moves. ah padan muka!

but i love it..feeling baby A move with my hands..love love love!

i've realised i did not take much photo of myself as in mthly photos..like how big i've grown. aiya i'm just not an 'arts' person but i shld have made an effort right? its not everytime i'm pregnant..some more my first time ..shld be more gungho right? but no..i'm always so laidback and lazy! ahaha..

mebe 2nd time i try la..especially the trying to get a girl part!!! ya they say baby gender not important as long as baby's healthy but i'm not going to lie to myself ..it IS important! ahahah AND i want a GIRL!!!..after said all that doesn't mean i'm going to give up my baby or kill it if its a boy again :p

yup..my baby A high five to us while dr aziz was scanning my tummy! so cuteeeeeeeeee tau!! i was a bit stunned at first...did he really did that?! shai was in awe..again! ahhaha

we did saw the face..err sort of..shai say he can see them clearly ..i'm still clueless la haha..at that point his hand is covering part of his face..

then shai said 'eh handsome nyer anak ayah (eh my son so handsome)', he suddenly opened up his palm!!! mcm high five gitu ..shai believed he did that after he said baby A's handsome but i think baby A just curious what's poking ( the scanner thing la ), so he put up his hand to touch ...ahahhahaha

nevertheless, its really something i will remember the rest of my life..
unfortunately it wasn't freezed, so i couldn't get a print out la :(
when dr aziz tried again, baby A has already changed position and hide his face :(

I'm at 32 weeks and baby A approximately weighs at 2kg and in breech position..and and i only put on 0.2kg since the last checkup..from 79.1kg to 79.3kg..yay! ahha

i've started to urinate more often now.i really love watching my tummy quiver and went out of shape ..whenever i put my hands on my tummy, baby A never fail to entertain me..*sigh*.. i love him so so so much and i can't wait to hold him .. less than 2 mths away..times just pass by without u noticing it..

next chkup will be on 20th Feb..i hope by then baby A's head has turned down..and i'm looking forward to more surprises..

yes i've been very lazy! supposed to update for every gynae visit lah..but the last scan of baby A showed nothing much except a bigger tummy and head.hehehe
doc says he's a bit overweight at 1.3kg..normal shld weigh ard 1.1kg lah.

he asked me to cut down on teh tariks .. haha ok ..all that condensed milk is adding to baby A's weight.

the next appt is on this wed..hope can get a scan of his face ..ahaha
The last time i weigh myself i'm at 79kg!! omg omg!! how to get rid of the extra weight later eh? mati gue! i hope i lose it naturally..(yeah rite)

my best friend bought the first baby clothes for baby A!haha..mak bapak nyer sendiri lum beli! and they are so cute .haha thanks mimi!! lup u..buy more k hawhwahawh
i haven't bought anyting at all for baby A, we planned to after chinese new year...i hope i have the energy..

nowadays i get so tired easily..just going to tampines mall left me breathless hahah
weak siak!

anyway lets backtrack a little.. just had my annual company dinner at Shangri-La Putrajaya on the 19 Jan. We flew there ( yup my gynae give me permission to go) and stayed 1 night. Flight and accomodation paid for by boss. Well only 3 of us so ok la. Stayed at Cyberview Lodge..chalet like accomodation..a bit scary coz a lot of trees but alhamdullilah nothing happened.

Had fun at dinner ..our theme is traditional costume and I went Korean. hahaha the only outfit that i can fit else i'll go Japanese (kimono). My msia colleague lagi power! haha egyptian la..western la..boleh tahan hawhhawhaw

The 3 of us frm singapore were presented with long service award of 5 years..dapat cert, $300 isetan voucher ( not enough and finishing v soon ) and a hmm..a thing that sounds like plague ahaha..i forgot the correct spelling!

Balik jer lepak...so tired!! even we fly to and fro...and the flight back a bit unpleasant with the turbulences..scary shit!! somemore i have a responsibility inside me! and its so hot!!! dah lah full flight ..msia airlines shld do something abt that man!

overall i enjoyed myself and the food but the pinggang cannot take it! haahahha
and no more flying till i give birth!haha

baju nak pink jer! haha..btw that's my gerek colleague Liza who has 3 children!! badan masih maintain beb!

Happy New Year everyone! So fast right? its already 2008!

so what did i do on new year's eve? i stayed at home after having dinner with mum and sister! ya so boring right..but nowadays i love to stay at home...pemalas one haha and save money also.

need all the money in the world man! haha

in like 2 mths time I will be in labour( or labor ah?)! that's fast right!!
still remember when i was only like err 7 weeks... tak sabar nak baby to grow..

so far pregnancy has been wonderful,no morning sickness(syukur alhamdullillah!), a bit of back pain (for now) and the on and off breathlessness (esp after food lah).
So far baby movements and kick pun very bearable( maybe because i'm very tebal lah hahah).

I feel really blessed but sometimes i can't help thinking..will i be really tested during labor? maybe my mostest pain will be during labor?

whatever it is, i HAVE to go through it and of coz i would prefer natural birth lah.
All i want is my baby to be healthy and delivered safely..that's all i ask for.Give me all the pain as long as my baby's safe. Insya allah..Amin.

As of tomorrow I am of 27 weeks..that's like coming to 7 mths. Having another appointment tomorrow and will get to see baby!! :D

I can knw feel baby's movements..not just kicks and bubble like..when i put my hand over i can feel something hard jutting out! it's so geli but at the same time so so so wonderful..*grins*

can't wait to see you my baby A (on the monitor) :)

How did the OB scan goes? spent abt 30 mins inside because baby's in a position where it was difficult to determine baby's heart, brain, limbs, gender ..etc etc.

But the radiographer did not give up but i could see she's getting frustrated ahahah but she was nice lah..

baby was in a kneeling (sujud)position so everything was covered. Pandai baby..dalam tummy dah pandai nak solat (hehe like real).

anyway, the prints didn't turn out that great..everything is a blur but 1 thing for sure..we are having a baby BOY!! yes.. the beberd i can see v clearly haha
syukur alhamdullillah everything fine with baby now..and insya allah it stays that way till the end..amin.

From vivo to sentosa..

Picked up the boys from mum's then off we went to Vivocity to get the boys' new crocs!!..the old ones berdaki ( v dirty) already. Actually its a belated birthday present for erfie, but the abang (brother) also got a new one. Either birthday..both will get..always been like dat. Its like buying for 4 birthdays each year! wahaah

Next year cannot already because auntie got baby to pamper! heeh but auntie will always love love love you two no matter what ehehehhehe..

Erfan chose a red pair and erfie a blue pair and 2 jibbitz each per croc shoe. The store gave a $10 discount for purchases above $100. That's 2 jibbitz for free! haha

After running ard the playground and having lunch at Burger King we proceed to Sentosa Siloso Beach to relax. By then I was quite exhausted already lah..lucky its a cloudy weather so not so bad.

Me and shai sat down while watching the boys played with the sand .. so funny haha.they were quite contented with playing with sand ..dig here dig there ..children~~..

Made a move from sentosa ard 5pm, grabbed drinks from Coffee Bean and we went to my place to clean them up. After Maghrib, we sent them back to their parents..erfan refused to go back..still want to follow us to dinner..but I had enough of them for the day! ahahah..his face like want to cry already ( erfan a bit soft la hahahah)

Next to airport for dinner coz we were also sending off Azlin's parents and Mimi's auntie to Mekkah. So emotional..everyone's crying but I maintain! ahah

Pray for them everything goes smoothly there and safe journey back, Insya allah!

after a few days of observation i realise this..baby is most active early in the morning ard 7am (after shai went off for work) and late at night ard 10-11 ish. Maybe at both times i'm either still asleep or resting , that's when baby starts to wiggle wiggle. hehe

and occasionally at work....but i felt the baby most when i'm lying down lah. so geli u know...and sometimes a bit startled.But i kept saying to myself this is nothing..worse yet to come ..haha

shai did get to feel the baby a couple of times..he was ecstatic!..can't wait for more.. :)

and also 1 thing for the past few days, ard 4am in the morning i was awaken by a pain at my right side near the kidney area, but then after pee-ing, the pain went away. hopefully its nothing serious.

4.5 weeks and a bit shy...

just had my monthly checkup last week on 2nd nov..i think fri is a good day to see doc because i am only the 5th in the queue. Arrived at 930am..kak ita took some blood samples and went to see doc ard 1015am.baby's fine alhamdullilah!

i was quite paranoid before that coz I still can't feel baby's movement..so wondering its well or not..blah blah..couldn't help it..so i wasn't satisfied by just looking at the scan .. i requested to hear the baby's heartbeat. the gedup gedup sound is music to my ears! hahah

doc tried to determine baby's gender but unsuccessful .. he said he saw something in between but he say it could be 'pepek tembam or buah pelir kecik'.yup his exact words ahahha. shai's confidently said baby's a girl and he got a 'hep' by doc saying ' i didn't say that arr.. '. i told him do not be so confident la haha nanti if not how right??! tsk tsk

this 24th ob scan so hopefully can see by then ..i will be 20 weeks by then...

doc say my weight gain's rapid..err i put on 2kg within a mth haha..but my food's intake still the same as before..he say it might be the hormones..hmmm..oh well as long as baby's fine i shouldn't worry too much..i will TRY to be more active haha...

btw .. i have outgrown my maternity jeans which happens to be the largest size..so how eh? :s
and my fav drink now is bandung and occasionally coffee bean ultimate mocha (i knw coffee no good haha), fav food is joo chiat complex chicken porridge. so far so good..all can bedal! and and of coz .. having frequent trips to the bathroom .. but not so bad coz for now during nighttime i'll just sleep it through muahaha..

in the below pic 1 is the view from below the buttock..and pic 2 you can see the legs are crossing each other at the ankles..sempit agak nyer ..kesian baby hehe

Hi everybody!!

Selamat Hari Raya ..maaf zahir batin jika tersalah comment ye!

anyway hari raya is kind of short and simple for me...i don't quite like crowds har har ..yeah even on hari raya..ntah eh..its just me i think.

and i forgot my EARRINGS!!!grrr

so first day we only visited 2 houses...shai's auntie's place where most of his side gathered on first day of raya and second to my mother's place. We make a move from our house ard 3 plus...he took a nap first after morning prayers..tido jer heheeh aper tak..siang2 dah gi masjid sultan chop place hahaha

Upon reaching his auntie place..chit chat a while terus makan..then tak sempat bergambar orang dah berpusu pusu datang..so seek refuge in one of the air-conditioned room to watch vcd comedy 'tak bley angkat' .so funny!! so ard 1 hr plus later..orang2 yg tadi datang masih belum balik!! nak stay for dinner agak nyer :S ..that's y no time to take pic..terlampau packed. and they are not even closely related to shai's side..agaknyer dah takder tempat nak pergi so bertenggek lah tu..so we make a move ard 6plus ..salam2 yg patut disalam terus cabot to my mother's place.

Sampai rumah mak ..relek..makan..coz waiting for my in-laws to arrive. some relatives of mine a(from father's side) also came to mother's place..ramai but they were ok ..tak kecohrable..haha..i prefer my father's side than my mother's side. erfie don't want salam me tapi nak duit raya..tsk ..ni budak kan ..! sampai nangis paksa suruh salam..haha

2nd day, we just drive around ...looking for more maternity clothes(i find maternity clothes v obit la and expensive... i think will get those normal clothes for tops but bottoms no choice ..has to be from maternity shop because of the elastic band) instead of visiting coz i wasn't feeling too well to visit. mebe this sunday visit my relatives from my mother's side lah..insya allah kalau hari baik mood baik haha dah lama tak jumpa cousins dan anak2 masing2..ye lah bukan selalu jumpa setahun sekali hehaha

i had my monthly checkup earlier..doc was out when i arrived..for a caesarean procedure eheh..lucky at eastshore..

anyways..its worth the wait and the headaches i've been having the past week coz I got to see my baby's movements!!! there's a part where the baby seemed to be caressing his/her right cheek!!!!!!!!!!!

so cute right?! i was pretty amazed and was giggling throughout..shai was pretty amazed too and was so excited! :D

doc says if the legs are not covering can see whether baby's a boy or girl but then think still too small lah hahah..

so hv to wait for next mth..arrgh sometimes i wish to have the scanner at home just to make sure baby's still alive :)..because now still cannot feel the baby mah..

Stubborn hair

in a week i visit the hairdresser twice! no choice lah..

first visit dye my hair golden brown..turn out half brown half black still...(before that i dyed my hair black lah)..actually after the wash i notice already but i too lazy to tell myhairdresser..coz later wait again ..coz he's the the owner and the only hairdresser lah

so i thought i close 1 eye..pretend never see the color difference..but then after 2 days ..cannot take it already..eyes and heart pain ..so went back to him..dyed again but end up the same thing..

i think myhair lah problem hahaha coz i dyed black before..he said black v stubborn hard to wash off..so i end up trimming my hair to get rid some of the stupid black color..
he said he could bleach but it would make my hair dry..

so next time no more black hair! so troublesome..

now can't wait for my hair to grow to cut concave bob again ..i think i look cutest w bob style hwhawhwah

Ayam Jantan!

My elder newphew erfan is in sriwana..recently he performed in a sriwana production called refleksi. he participate in 2 dance items but his father managed to get the first one called ayam jantan. as it is ...i forgot my own camera and my younger sis took all the performance and therefore the batt went flat before his 2nd item.

he really went thru extensive training for this event..and its my first time at this kind of production..i find it quite entertaining even though i find the tix quite ex at $20.hahaha

some of the dances are funny though ahha

orange juice

what im gonna say are not in order of occurance..too tired to remember which comes first hahaha

tdy i took cab all the way from geylang to tampines just to get my Minute Maid orange juice ....which is out of stock!!! grrr!! ntuc dun have ..shop n save also dun have! burger king have a small bottle but at $2.2o! just ytd i bot it at esso at only $0.70! what a rip off!

but i ended buying from mac at $2.60! haha ..well at least its not in a bottle so i cant compare the price and that i cant wait for shai to be back with the orange juice( i ask him to get from esso on his way back). I have to have my orange juice there and then .. and boy i was exhausted! i tink i overeat la when buka-ing :S

feeling mual (like want to vomit) ...so only orange juice makes me feel better and it must be Minute Maid one coz its thick and masam (sour) haha! shiok!

Some of u may have known...i'm ard 3mths pregnant..so far alhamdullilah no vomitting but the feel is there lah..:/..and i realise i feel more bloated during nights and more tired during mornings hence the recent increase of MCs , time offs and urgent leaves...u name it ..i have taken it. The next option for me will be unpaid leave and mc ...haiz

i wish i can sleep the whole day!! so far 2 days nver fast .. dun knw how long i can last..but i feel MORE tiring when fasting ..i keep on sleeping at work!.im such a pig la! ahhahaha

i can't wait for my next app which is on the 5th of oct! so xcited!my maternity jeans already getting tight and its the largest size already...how like dat eh? tsk

and i still can't take rice..the idea of it just turns me off..but im craving for nasi bukhari!!!

i feel sometimes ppl really don't understand u..unless they themselves are really in your shoes..

when i say i'm can't...it's not that i PURPOSELY can't ..it means 'i want to badly but due to some circumstances i can't and that i'm really sorry but i really can't but i want to badly'. and the reply i get its like i purposely can't and that its rude of me or inconsiderate of me that i can't.

haha..i knw its a bit confusing but i just want to get it out of my head.it's really maddening or disappointing sometimes when ppl or even close friends do not understand the plight i'm in..they simply don't understand.

It's not as if i want sympathy..far than that..i deserve to be in this state but i would just want them to understand ..really UNDERSTAND and respect my decision. don't knw la..mebe i'm too sensitive.

another thought..its really eating me when ppl called me another name! few times its fine but after like a year plus..? i'm getting annoyed.yes i am.. and i hope i won't get irriated to the point i'll snap at that person coz it wouldn't be nice.yeah some ppl are forgetful but personally i think it gotta stop sooner or later.

its not as if my name's too long or too difficult to pronounce..is it my fault? i don't think so.

i think it's my time of the month *cross fingers*

p/s: i'm looking for a part time job during weekends..yeah shai wld be working most of the time even weekends..so i'd though i'll get a part time job to keep me entertained/busy .. and yeah of coz y not for extra moolah rite...i'll go crazzzzzzyy at home the whole day..i almost did this past weekend haha. I tried the so called famous ayam penyet stall kat kampung melayu..

just my 2 cents worth..lain orang lain rasa ye...

saya kasi 2.5 out of 5! ahahah

i've tasted better and 1 downside its self-service...the thing is i went during lunch and there wasn't much ppl lah..aper salah nyer hantar kan rite..

and the music too loud lah..and its those lagu rnb orang putih..so while the azan tgh berkumandang for dzuhur .. the song pun boleh tahan kuat lor..bukan i tak suka lagu tu..tapi ader memekak sikit ah..ahah

i read so much of good reviews abt it..a bit disappointed ley..some more i paid u knw..haiz takpe dah nasib ..aper mau buat ahhaa

again masing masing k! senang cakap I wouldn't go there anymore..

my first ayam penyet was actually at Ayam Penyet Ria at Lucky Plaza and so far to ME its the best ! they have tahu and tempe and also kangkung with it! and the sambal belacan power! there's another branch near my workplace along joo chiat road..wonder whether its still as nice as before..gotta try one of these days..but like a bit far want to walk..hehe

My birthday came and went without much celebration. Too busy to celebrate ahhhaha..Received gifts from lovely friends and new formal outfit from the hubster...and also birthday wishes from others. Thank you my friends!!

To me, yes its the thought that counts!if i do receive gifts, its a bonus! I was on leave on my birthday that is a Monday!ah bliss! ahhaa

i took like bloody forever to just log in!! and realise cookies not turn on..that's why can't logged in.

argh! ok lah short update..no mood already.

a couple of significant things happened.. first shai went to taiwan for 1 damn month for reservist! err i think i mention that in my prev post right?? haha..12 more days to go before i jump on him!! grr!

and secondly, i had a humpty dumpty moment along a flight of stairs, sprained both ankles, had a excruating-wailing massage session to put both my sprained ankles right, now the right foot aches at the sole part whenever i walk. great! pfft!.. still has to put off heels for now :s ..and it has been like 2 weeks since i had the fall. i shall give it 2 more weeks for the pain to go else has to endure another massage session!!! *wails*

The song in my blog is one of my all time favourite songs!! when i listen to this song..all the wonderful memories keep flooding back..back to when i was in primary school and sec school. I still remember I was quite active in participating in dance concerts during primary sch. so kental! ahha

ooh how i miss my pri sch friends! i'm only in contact with 1 of them Nurfirdawati who's married w 2 beautiful girls.:) ... i miss Nurhuzilla one of my v close buddies in pri sch. Used to hang at her place after sch...dancing ard ..eating ... but after that i lost her :(..Zilla if u happen to read this do email me at maharet_28@hotmail.com ya!!

we were all hanging at the backstage dancing la (sumer step kluar)..blah blah..flirting! aahha..it's a feeling feeling (shiok sendiri) song but oohh i so love the melody of the song!! also brings back my sec sch days memories..i used to admire (wat a word eh 'admire') this guy but the feeling was not mutual haha...he's the only guy that i went crazy over throughout my 4 sec sch years ..i was so happy when he came to my bday party!! haha ..those were the days..and Jun is one of my best frens in sec sch...we known each other before we entered the same sec sch..after all this years we are still friends..and i'm glad :)..and now she has a beautiful baby girl Nur Adrianna!!! I can't believe that u have a child already Jun ..*sobs* ..u still look the same! :)..aww how i miss the times we used to spend together..so many things hv happened in between those year but i'm glad we are still friends. <3

few days back i had to take a bus frm bedok interchange and i sort of get nostalgic as i walked thru the interchange..as i passed the place where it used to be KFC ..i almost could smell the chicken.. i don't knw why but i get all sad and teary when i happen to pass by places that i used to frequent....how i wish i could go back in time when all i hv to worry about are grades and boys heheh

in a week's time shai's going to taiwan for a month! for reservist purposes ! f**k :/i've never been away frm him that long..the longest by far is 2 weeks that was a sponsored trip to japan from his company. I'm not sure how I would cope..i guess i can cope by being busy but I foresee the nights are going to be hard :'(...i just hope and pray he'll come back safely... i asked him y do u have to go so far to taiwan for reservist and he answered so that they have 'enough' space to train. i say its....LAME! :S I'm gonna MISS him...*sobs*

Firstly Salam Aidiladha to all my muslim bloggers/friends!!!

Secondly Happy happy new year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so fast right??!!
So ya i'm at home celebrating new year hawhwa..boring right and shai's already asleep! ahah
but it's ok coz we had a great time celebrating our 2nd year anniversary at Marina Mandarin! :) Our anniversary actually falls on 25th Dec but yes he had to work on our anniversary haha

It was a Premier Room, that's the only room type available. Of course we would have preferred something cheaper but then all's fully booked due to the new year. Lucky though its a credit card promotion so we got quite a good deal i must say.

I love the room! It was simple and modern. It feels like home because it has a Plasma tv! and a cordless phone! The toilet's all in white and glass ..ahhh nice. But for the plasma tv, the pictures were being stretched. Hmmm no plasma for me :)

Went to suntec,marina,esplanade to shop and had dinner. Took pictures :)..overall i had a GREAT time. Thanks to Shai my dear husband,without him it wouldn't be possible (he paid for everything, I can't afford ahwhwahwa)

Thanks my dear..Happy 2nd Anniversary to us! I promise I will be a better wife to you, Insya Allah.

And to the rest of you my dear friends/bloggers, may this new year brings happiness, health and wealth for all of you!! :) Thanks for being a part of my life :)

Just had my dinner of char kway teow cooked late nite yesterday. Was sleeping off my migraine before that.

Teringat satay and spaghetti from aniq's bday party hehehe. Prior to that I had a function,halfway thru the function migraine came to visit me after so long :s. That's why I couldn't eat anything la after that..if not i would have attack the food already ahhah

Quality Time - My 2nd Love Language

It's v seldom we get to spend time together the whole day. Today is shai's off day and my saturday off. Usually he will still go back to work on his off and rest days but i think he wanted to rest and relax today and also being my saturday off (and appointment-free day).

Woke up ard 10am and had breakfast at changi village.I had nasi sambal goreng(power!) and he had chicken briyani (pun power!). After that we went to take a short walk towards the changi beach.We did not went all the way in but stopped near the terminal before the bridge.

The place was nicely renovated and we sat on a small wooden stool enjoying the nice cool,windy weather and nearby flowers and butterflies.We talked, joked, daydreamed and laughed. It was v v relaxing and I really enjoyed the time spent together.

We reached home ard 1plus, before that rented a couple of vcds, watched one of them called Date Movie (lame but hilarious movie) anddddd go to sleep!!! har har

I was awake by 5plus in the evening.. thinking where else to spend the rest of the day (must make full use mahh..) and vivocity came to mind! haha..i was thinking of GAP lah ahha

Tried to arouse shai from his sleep , unsuccessful ..tried again at 6 plus. He groggily went to take his shower, iron clothes..blah blah ..by the time we are ready its 7plus pm! ahah he didn't want to ride there, jam la, crowded lah..etc etc..so decided on going public..so i said nvm la forget abt it.by the time we reached there alln shops closed because he wanted to have dinner first at his fav Istanbul stall nearby our place.

So we had our dinner there , after that to century square ( i had this Mondo light pink pumps in mind!) ahahah . he had a new spectacles done and he bought me the pink pumps and a dress which he likes ahaha...for me it's what i would normally wear but its something new lah and he likes it and paying for it so why not right? :)

So happy la go shop shop and walk walk w him..its been awhile..we were so busy w work and whatnots...usually by the time i'm home he's asleep..:(

Upon reaching home..washed up and watched the other vcd The Lake House..( a bit confusing but romantic)and shai went to sleep again as he has to work the next day so must sleep early.

A Belated Bday Gift for Erfie

Initially I wanted to blog abt my dinner and dance first, but just the thought of it puts me off. Why? because its such a tiring event running here and there. later perharps..

i finally get erfie the belated birthday gift couple of days back. His bday was on 5th nov..before that he's been bugging me abt his drum set. I quote him " auntie onin, mana ni drum erfie? lama sangatttttttt lah" ...aahhaah

so i tried toys r us, but they don't have. They only have the modern type, those flat like thingy ..oh well looks boring and its much more expensive ard $50++

i tried isetan next in tamp mall and it was such a relief when i found what he wanted! i was at lost what to get him if I can't find the drum set u see. There was only 2 sets left and they are red in colour and it only cost $24.90!! cheap rite..

grabbed it asap, did not wrap as they don't sell wrapping paper there (am too lazy to get it anywhere else plus i'm running late) and rushed to my sis house. My mum and younger sis were there too.i tried to assemble the drum set but upon seeing the many many parts i gave up and surrendered to my bro in law who took like 5 mins to assemble it ahahha

erfie was delighted to receive his much anticipated drum set but he refuse to play it for us at first! coz i wanted to take a video of him playing w my hp lah ..he's camera shy la ahhaha...grrrrrrrr. he actually asked us to go back!! so he can play his drum..so noty ah!

I did catch him a bit on video fidgeting with his drum set but he sat on the floor ahah he refused to sit on the chair !!

somehow we were all occupied during a period of time, he was happily banging at the drum set but as soon as my mum acknowledged him drumming, he stopped and soon after lost interest on his drum set and proceed on to his computer game whahhahahah

Assalammualaikum kawan kawan sekalian! (ehem)

today i visited 2 houses only!! malas kan? my parents and shai's grandma house(his parents also there). this year my parents nver go out at all..my mum say she's tired ehehe

2 houses so tired already! haha ..what i love most abt raya?? FOOD!! glorious food! rendang, sambal goreng, ayam goreng, ayam kari, ayam merah, udang, BAGEDIL! dan lain lain lagi! Lucky i wear corset so cannot eat so much! ahah but now at 1230am i just ate a bit of lontong and chicken plus bagedil.die tomoro diet ahhwahwa

Backtrack a bit..The eve of raya i break fast at my in law's house.. my MIL prepared a feast for me! i ate quite a number of fried chicken with skin!! haha and bagedil also countless! bagedil so cute ..i just keep popping them in!

went to my parents' house first cause its nearer in tampines, shai's grandma in kembangan. kecohrable ok ..with my nephews and all. took some photos with much difficulty thanks to the little imp erfie! u can see from his face later..he simply refuse to pose nicely for the photos! grrr! but i still adore him ahha

ok la i want to kemas ..ya stil haven finish kemas lar.. so lazzyyyyyyy..still need to work out the food i ate just now!

Am now in the office waiting for my yoga lesson at 830pm. Actually 2 lessons la..first starts at 7pm BUT i came to work late so bo pian la have to miss the first one..:S

had prata and teh tarik for break fast..cannot eat rice later yoga die ahahah

ytd shai and me went to parkway for break fast at swensen..after that we went to scout for my black heel boots. Got it at 1 of the shoe shops..black color and it only costs S$39.90!! so cheap rite..and nice la..i like the heels..slim one..if order thru VS sure $100 ++ plus shipping... I v happy ok..later got time i take the picture hokay...haha

today my sofa arrived!! shai volunteered to take pic and email me..since i'm only be back home ard 10pm. kiasu rite!!?? its rose red and v light beige although it looks yellowish in the pic..wah now can relax on sofa no need sit on the floor..whwahwhahwa

Ok no more angry post abt cockroaches and what nots!..happy tots happy tots..I went jogging w shai on wed!!..around my estate la..and only for 1 round hahh.. ytd never jog coz meet friends for dinner at glutton bay esplanade..v nice u knw the food but limited ah for halal food. i tried the fondue kaya v niceeeee... the mutton soup POWER..satay also nice..meat v tender ..mee goreng also not bad..

ok back to the subject here..jogging..its a start! after like 1 year since i jog?..ya i'm getting lazy.. when i was staying w parents, i always went for a jog quite regularly and i went like 6 rounds in the stadium hokay! wahhh..now can only manage 1km haha

but its a good start unless i stop ..ahha ..AND i'm back to 2 classes of yoga back to back every fri! w Dolly!..my fav instructor... can't wait!..so my dear friends remember every fri i gt yoga ok!..don't tempt me w food or shopping outings arh haha

cockroaches and lizards and all the creepy crawlies!!!
i kept my nike shoe under my table at my work place..took it out just now with intention to jog later and guess what i found in the box???!!

full of cockroach eggs and mini cockroaches!!!! inside the shoes some more!! wah piang eh!!!

so i spray and spray w mortein to kill the bastards with the hope of cleaning and reusing it later. As i lifted one shoe out the box the mother/father cockroach peeked out fr the shoe lah!!!!!!!!! ARGHHHHHH!! that's it ..fr there I've decided to throw the pair of shoes..its still new you knw..

but what's really heart pain is that its a gift from my darling husband and its expensive ok..more than $100..and i seldom wear also..i asked him whether i can throw and he said ok but i can sense he's disappointed and I am too!! i shouldn't have left it in my stupid dirty office (its time for me to leave ah !sucks man)

Nephews day and UNPAID leave

Am on leave today. My mum had to go for body checkup (blood samples, urine samples, etc etc) at sgh with my younger sis so i was told to take leave to look after the nephews. Their mum has to take leave for my mum's next appt w the doctor.

So i applied for leave and it was UNPAID. Oh well, my company only allow 1 leave to be taken each mth..such a 'brilliant' idea!.. I could take MC but oh well i've taken quite a number so leave is it then...

i arrived at my mum's place ard 11plus..erfie coming back fr sch ard 1125am... erfan around 130pm..so i had to be there before erfie came back. So while i was waiting downstairs guess who i saw??! my mother and siti!! duh! ahaha..they are not supp to be home early ! that's the purpose of me taking leave! aha

but she said she was feeling faint at the hosp so she was let in earlier ahah..but then she didn't rest straight away , instead was well enough to watch a malay drama :S ..

erfie came home,played w him a while then we both fell asleep ..in between erfan came home aahha and he put on the Son of the Mask vcd.. I woke up with a slight headache( weather's a B.I.T.C.H!) , took some pics w them and a short video cause i ran out of memory.

Sardine Sambal Anyone??

Knocked off work tdy at 830pm. Suppose to be at 630pm.Trying to finish off my long dued project.. but to no success. I'll just continue tomoro la.. Went to Giant Parkway to get a blender. What is it for u ask..well I want to learn to cook and the first dish would be sambal sardine ( sardine w lotsa chili..hehe).Prior to that,scribbled down the ingredients and preparation steps from Hana.

Some garlie, red onions, dried chilies, tamarind juice(fr the paste), some salt, msg, sugar and of coz SARDINE - 1 of my favourite fish.

Suppose to meet Carole after all the shopping but was tired already so I told her that I would go off first. But alas I met her at the taxi queue..waited like half an hour for a cab!...We shared a cab home.Its been a while since I went out w her. :)

Once I alight fr the cab, found out my dear Azlin achieved her goal! CONGRATS my dear!! I'm so PROUD of you! GO <>!

Arrived home ard 1030pm.Hubby already asleep. So eager to start cooking..yeah at nite! I was that EAGER! I hurriedly pried open the new blender box and saw a piece of glass..To my dismay the blender has broken into pieces!!! I didn't even knw that's its glass in the first place, if not I wouldn't bought it. No wonder its cheap.. S$29.90 only...but lucky it comes w a miller. (smaller version of blender). At least I could blend my chili paste..if not i would have cried in frustration!
Contemplating whether I should go back to Giant and request a replacement or just threw it away. I would have gotten a plastic one eventually ..more durable. Actually I dropped it at Giant..it fell out of my shopping basket.ahaha ..oh well if i;m not lazy la tomoro i shall drag the broken blender to work..YES..i'm working tomoro! grr

Finished cooking at ard 12am..put aside washing the dishes first to devour my sardine sambal! and it tastes GREAT! ..to me la.. Not bad ah Lynn for a first attempt! It was quite spicy at first , so I added some black soya sauce more for hubby's sake..Later too spicy he cannot eat la...awhwhaaw

Thanks again Hana.. I look forward to learning more dishes from u ah ah..Next on the list would be Ayam Lemak Cili Padi (chicken w chili coconut), Asam Pedas (Fish w Chili gravy), Sambal Sotong (Squid chili)- hubby's fav, Sayur Lodeh (a vegetable soupy dish)-also hubby's fav..i dun like soupy vegetable dishes and also Sambal Terung (Brinjal Chili)..wah so many ah..like real only ahaha

You may say ..sardine sambal so easy la to make..but for an amateur cook like me, its an achievement because it involves grinding of basic ingredients like onions, garlie etc hwahwwah .Usually I used ready made paste and sauces..haha

I took urgent half day leave today..clock in work at 145pm. Woke up late ..LAZY and TIRED. And also I missed my nephews! :( That's y I want to catch them back fr school. Even the second one Erfie has started school! Sekolah madrasah! (religious class but got english la)

So cute ok! Long pants but never wear songkok..pasal he say hot ahha. My mother told me the first day when he board the school bus he complained saying 'sumer ngok shi!' he's a bit pelat ahah so what he meant was semua tengok erfie(yes shi is erfie ahah) also meaning all the kids in the bus are looking at him ! ahah so sombong(proud) my nephew!

And just now my mother said when he board the school bus he said, 'nenek ikot shi ah!'..he asked my mother to follow him.. ehhe ..then going back time when my mum fetched him from under the block, he ran to my mum and hug her..he wasn't crying but the kids in the bus cried!! ahaha cute right? mebe they missed their parents also! so cute ok..

he also said assalammualaikum (peace upon u ) now but coming from him its very distorted! only his parents,brother and my mum understand him! I sooo love my nephews! so cute and naughty! i dont want them to grow can?

hi! i'm back! Pan Pac's good..Our room view facing conrad and suntec..
Ordered room service..nasi goreng ..not bad..shai ordered fish and chips..also not bad.

The TV's a bit disappointing though..not big enough..but the rest seems fine..
i still prefer ritz la of coz..

And shopping nearby..i'm satisfied. Marina's Square has been revamped..so many shops okay..v confusing but BEST! ahah..went suntec marina suntec marina..headache ok..

A year went by so fast..i'm already married for a year! bittersweet year .notin's perfect right? looking forward to a new year and a new home! can't wait!.

4 more days to go to our 1st year anniversary...how times pass by so fast!
What have i achieve in a year? well... a house! *grins* which is still under renovation..

can't wait!! *rubs hand in anticipation*..

just a nite at Pan Pacific to celebrate our first year together..notin fancy! Just glad we made it to the first year and insya allah(god willing) many more years to come! :D

after that..hmm need to make new year resolutions..one of that will be a baby! yes a BABY! ya i know i've always said 'not now' 'not ready' but all the births around me is really getting to me and i DO adore babies..its just that i'm afraid of the pain ..oh well..we'll see..

If you want to understand your spouse better this is the book to read! For those of you who always quarrel, try reading this book. It's really good! I finished it in a day.

Yeah you may say i 'tricked' you, I've expected this kind of reaction but sorry from my point of view I'm just sharing something with you. And using the word 'forcing' I deemed its inappropriate. I was there and in no way it was forceful.

I know you are feeling down...I understand and sympathise with you but please don't exaggerate. I don't mind you being angry with me ..i DO deserve it but NOT her.

Pls k, we don't force cause there are always other people who will see why we are doing this. Why should we waste time FORCING people?

Missing...

Suddenly I missed London... yeah it was just 2 nights there but it really made an impact on me..Its so refreshing to see 'other' faces ..hah!

I can't make up my mind to go London or Gold Coast come next yr feb..and this time yeah i'll stay longer :p ..

Getting my house keys soon in fact this coming Tuesday! So excited yet scared. Scared of living alone..without my sisters and parents. But lucky for me my mum place is not far away...oh well 15 mins away..quite far to me haha.

Had 3 hours yoga ytd after a 3 weeks rest..previously i had yoga every tues and fri ..1.5 hours each lesson but now my tues(s) are occupied thus I enrolled for 2 classes back to back on fri..i almost fell asleep on the second class..so tired man..now my body is aching ...but i need the exercise..been feeling breathless again these few days :s

Its constipation again!! i've had it twice this week alone..thank god not everyday !

I so so LOVE MAC lipstick especially the ones in Amplified Creme! the texture is oh so nice and creamy ! Vwunderful! Got 1 in Double Shot yesterday and now after surfing the website I've got a list of colors to get!...i love browns...nudes..pinkish brown.. hehehe

So far I had Lucid (tawnish brown)and Double Shot( turn a bit darkish but still love it) only! I had to have more...on the list are HoneyLove, Orchidstrate, Velvet Teddy, Siss, Underplay, Half n Half, Satiate and Cosmo!

So Mimi.. can we go Mac at city hall first before having dinner at Banquet Raffles? *grins*

sorry frens ... i'm such a darn lazy blogger!! hehehe ..too much things in da head but too lazy to type it down..

celebrated hubby 27th birthday at Marriot...room was ok ok .. he received a number of prezzies from his aunties ... and one of them a brand new hp! Nokia 6610i..lucky bugger! hehe ..he's been contemplating to get one .. lucky haven't buy ..hehe
i got him a perfume for his bday which was given much earlier hehehe

bought some stuff... a new jeans! and perfume for me and him by Lanvin.. cheap cheap..both for S$159! and 100 ml..goodie goodie!

going for a short short getaway this sat! i hope so *sighs*

love u all lovelies! i miss the bali gals and the SIA gal and the TTSH gal and the rest!! ehhehe

Planned to visit my colleague and her newborn baby boy Ryan(rian) Irfan after work but went home first to get my camera! Took a cab to Pasir Ris since it's raining.

Ryan was asleep when I arrived ..shucks but I still got to coddle him eehehe...
He looks just like his momma esp his cheeks...so chubby and he smells oh soo baby-licious!!
